Ladda-SSV Prevention Services

Prevention Services

Ladda-SSV provides free blood pressure and blood sugar checks as part of its village-level stroke prevention work. These services are for non-emergency support within the Ladda-SSV village network.
Early Awareness

Reducing Stroke Risk Starts Early

Stroke risk can build silently. Regular blood pressure and blood sugar checks help families notice possible risk earlier and seek suitable medical advice when needed.
Prevention Services do not replace a doctor’s care, emergency treatment, or hospital assessment. They are a community support pathway to improve awareness and encourage timely action.

What prevention support focuses on

✓
Free blood pressure checks for eligible community members.
✓
Free blood sugar checks through clinic and village visit pathways.

Important Guidance

For Stroke Symptoms, Call the Helpline First

Prevention checks are not the right route for suspected stroke symptoms. Acute stroke support begins with a helpline call, not by bringing the patient directly to Mata Rupinder Clinic or the Ladda hub.
!
Call the helpline if there is sudden face drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty, confusion, or other suspected stroke symptoms.
!
Do not use daily prevention checks as an emergency assessment service.
!
Transport support is stroke-only and follows the Ladda-SSV helpline and video-assessment pathway.
