Why it matters
Community Support Makes the Model Stronger
Stroke safety in rural communities depends on more than one clinic or one helpline. People need to recognise warning signs, know how to respond, and connect with the right pathway without delay.
Volunteer support helps Ladda-SSV keep its message close to families, schools, village institutions, and people who care about safer villages.
Support awareness around stroke recognition and timely response.
Help communities understand where to connect for the right Ladda-SSV pathway.
Strengthen local trust through respectful, guided participation.
Ways to help
Where Volunteers Can Support
Volunteer involvement is guided by the Ladda-SSV team. The right support may vary depending on the person, location, activity, and current needs of the village network.
Awareness Support
Help share clear, responsible information about stroke warning signs and the importance of timely action.
Village Connection
Support communication between local people and the Ladda-SSV team in appropriate, guided ways.
School and Community Participation
Assist education-focused activities when suitable, approved, and guided by the team.
Prevention Participation
Encourage people to use approved prevention services, without giving medical advice or making health claims.
Family and Caregiver Support
Help families understand where to connect for the right Ladda-SSV service or support pathway.
Who can get involved
Support Can Come From Many Parts of the Community
People connected to the Ladda-SSV mission may express interest in volunteering. Suitable involvement is guided by the foundation team, so each person’s role can remain responsible, useful, and safe.
The current service area remains focused on the Ladda-SSV village network, while people living outside the area may still share their interest in supporting the mission.

Volunteer Support Must Stay Responsible
Volunteers help strengthen community participation. They do not replace doctors, nurses, emergency services, or the Ladda-SSV helpline pathway.
No Diagnosis
Volunteers should not diagnose stroke, assess medical risk, or give treatment advice.
No Direct Emergency Handling
Urgent suspected stroke concerns must follow the proper helpline-based Ladda-SSV pathway.
Guided Participation
Volunteer involvement should happen only in suitable roles guided by the Ladda-SSV team.
